Our Story
With over two decades of experience, they have grown this family-owned and operated business into a full-service company that offers everything in-house, from landscape design and build to lawn and landscape maintenance and snow and ice management services.
Gino Lucia founded GLC as a 13-year-old, and by the time he was 16, he was providing lawn care services to approximately 60 residential customers. In 2015, Gino’s wife Eileen brought her Eastern Michigan University’s College of Business School education and her career experience to manage the GLC office full-time.

Gino Lucia
Owner
Gino, the founder of our company in 2003, is dedicated to hands-on leadership and ultimate customer satisfaction. With over two decades of experience in the landscape industry and a licensed builder, he actively leads our hardscape crew on-site. Gino is passionate about setting ambitious goals for the team and fostering a collaborative environment to achieve them. When he’s not on the job he enjoys spending time with his family, CrossFit, camping and the tv show Yellowstone.
Eileen Lucia
Owner
Eileen, a.k.a "Boss Lady," brings over 15 years of experience in the landscaping industry and holds a Business Management degree from Eastern Michigan University. She excels in creating efficient processes, building strong client relationships, and managing the behind-the-scenes operations of the business. In her spare time, Eileen focuses her attention on her family, faith and fitness.
Stephen Fritz
Account Manager
Stephen, our dedicated account manager, has been an integral part of our team since 2017. Initially joining GLC due to a long-standing friendship with Gino, Stephen quickly emerged as a leader within the company. His expertise and personable approach have earned him the admiration and loyalty of his customers, who absolutely love working with him. In his free time, he enjoys researching various topics, gaming, and spending time with his wife and two kids.
June Czech
Customer Care Specialist
June is the newest member of GLC, onboarding in March of 2024. She is our customer service specialist and does her job with passion! When she is not assisting our customers, she is busy being the best grandma to her grandchildren.
Lilly Koziol
Office Assistant
Lilly has been an invaluable member of the GLC team for three years. She wears many hats and assists where she is needed, whether that be in the office or running supplies to team members in the field. She loves photography and her two cats. In her spare time you can find her on the lake somewhere Up North.
Chris Smith
Lawn Maintenance Foreman
Chris has been a dedicated member of our team since 2015. He is a fantastic role model for the crew, exemplifying commitment and passion for his work. Known for his unwavering loyalty, Chris never misses a day or an opportunity to support his team. He enjoys cooking, his favorite food is steak! In his free time, he enjoys watching football and playing with his pup, George.
Jimmy Schwartz
Lawn Maintenance Crew
Jimmy has been with GLC since 2021. He is passionate about the work he does and it shows in the final product. In his free time, Jimmy enjoys bowling and baseball. His hobbies include video games and trapshooting.
Owen Gallagher
Lawn Maintenance Crew
Owen joined our team in 2023 and has quickly shown his eagerness to learn and grow within the company. Trained to assist across all areas, whether it’s maintenance, hardscape, or landscape, Owen’s versatility and enthusiasm make him an asset to GLC. Outside of work, he enjoys watching sports and spending time with his work family even after the job is complete.

Ezequiel joined the team in 2022. He is one of the talented members of our lawn maintenance crew. He enjoys hanging out with friends and cooking. During the off season, he enjoys watching soccer and spending time with family.

Luis joined the team in 2022. He works with precision and care on every project and enjoys being a part of the team. When he’s not crafting beautiful landscapes, you can find him with family and friends. He enjoys watching soccer and playing foosball.

Landscape Crew
Melchor joined our team in 2023 and has quickly become a valuable member of our landscape crew. This season, he has been instrumental in helping the team install pools. Known for his dedication and meticulous attention to detail, Melchor treats every job with the utmost care, ensuring high-quality results in all his work. He loves Michigan summers and hates the cold.

Hardscape Crew
TJ originally joined our team in 2016 and has been a key contributor to our growth. As a lead member of the hardscape crew, he has a passion for crafting beautiful backyards and cultivating a great work environment. When he’s not building pools and patios, he enjoys spending time outdoors and being with his family and friends. His hobbies include four-wheeling, fishing, and cooking.

Raul has been a member of the GLC team since 2022. He is one of our leading hardscape crew members and works with dedicated passion on every project. He enjoys sharing a drink with friends along with cooking delicious meals.
Jeff Schmidt
House Mechanic
Jeff joined the team in 2022. He has over 40 years of experience in the mechanical field. He is a master in his trade and the best around! In his free time, he enjoys cruising around on his Harley.
